how to:Make the Most Money with Paid Surveys
In case you are new here, I LOVE SURVEYS!
Taking online surveys is one of the easiest ways in the world to make some extra money from home, without much effort. However, there are some tricks to the trade, so to speak.
Over the past four years I have been taking surveys, I have learned a lot, mostly through mistakes and I think what I have learned can help you maximize your earnings.
Whether you are just starting out or have been taking paid surveys for awhile, I think you can benefit from the things I have learned.
1. Take every survey they send you.
All the survey companies will email you with their latest surveys that you roughly qualify for, some will announce a payment in the email, some will not. Take them all regardless of rewards offered. There are a few reasons for this, but most importantly, they will know that you are willing to take all the surveys they send you and therefore will send you more. The survey companies want people who are willing to spend the time to answer the questions, the more surveys you complete, the more they like you and they will keep sending you more and more. I get about 30 surveys a day from various companies, sometime I qualify for them all, sometimes I don’t, but I fill each one out and try my luck. They like this and they send me more because of this.
With each new survey you are sent, you have the potential to earn more, so it makes sense to at least give it a shot, even if it seems like there are no rewards.
When it appears there is no reward offered, don’t just delete that email and move onto the next. Many times, the email survey you are sent is a qualifying survey, meaning it is just to see if you qualify for a bigger, better survey. Cases in point: I received an email from Survey Savvy to complete a survey for 1$, I filled it out and found out that I qualified for a second survey worth 20$. Another time I completed a survey that Survey Spot sent me that was for a sweepstakes entry, I completed the survey and it ended up being for a product test, the follow up survey I took after testing the product was worth 5$. If I had skipped either of these surveys I would have been out 26$ and a free product.
It pays to take every survey a company sends you.
2. Login to your account frequently.
I make it a point to log in to my survey accounts at least once a week. Why? Not only to check my balances(it can take up to 6 weeks for earnings to show up), but to take any of the polls, surveys or questionnaires on my home page. By doing this, you will increase your number of surveys available to you, many times those little polls and questionnaires are to see if you are interested or possibly qualify for a future survey or product test. If there is a poll about vacations and you are planning one, they will look to you when they have the next survey about vacations, this means more earnings potential for you!
Another reason I log in weekly is to let them know that I am still around and interested in taking more surveys, if a company hasn’t sent you emails in awhile, try logging into your account and taking any polls they have or just check your balances and you may be surprised when you receive multiple offers from them in the following days. The reason for this is maybe you didn’t respond to the last few they sent you or maybe you didn’t qualify for them and they will sort of skip over you to the next person who seems more involved. With most surveys they have a set number of responses they will need, and if you miss out, there is not an opportunity to retake the survey, so you need to get yourself to the top of the list, and stay there. By logging into your account, you show interest and that makes you more visible to the survey company, they will know you are still willing to participate and you will move up the list!
3. Answer all the questions honestly, they won’t send you any more surveys if you answer every question the same (like checking every box with maybe) or if you answer with one word answers in the little boxes provided. Answer the questions honestly, and provide detail when you are asked, the better you are at taking surveys, they more opportunities a company will give you. I used to make this mistake to try to shave time off my surveys. I would just click any box, whether it made sense or not, guess what? They stopped sending me surveys, some companies even closed my account and I had to start all over again. So, try to take your time and answer the questions honestly, I know some of them seem to take forever, but the more surveys you take, the more you will understand that most of them have the same basic layout and answers. You will get to a point, like me, where you can complete a survey in 10 minutes that used to take you 25 minutes. In time, you will get into a groove and be banging those suckers out!
There you have it, the basics you need to know to get the most money out of the survey companies. I plan on doing some articles on this with individual survey companies, so stay tuned for that.
