Kyle’s Coupons 04-10-08

I love the Spring, easily one of my four favorite seasons! I am sitting here in my home office, the window open, bright green leaves sprouting on the oaks, tulips and other flowers I don’t know the name of in full bloom, the buzz of bees and hummingbirds in the air, and of course, yellow pollen as thick as mustard on my truck. I think it is the sense of renewal that really gets my juices flowing and makes me want to put on my Birkenstocks and roll around on the front lawn.
Anyway, my wife and I have been doing quite a bit of planting of flowers and trees the past couple weekends. We live on 3 acres and I am starting a small fruit orchard on part of the property. I have an apple, peach, and nectarine tree already in the ground with plans to add a cherry and a plum. Looking forward to going out in the orchard during the summer with the kids, and eating an overly ripe peach and just letting the juices run down our faces and into the dog’s mouth. I can picture it already! We eat a ton of fruit as a family, and so the orchard should really save us a lot of money in the years to come.
Seeing that my thumb is more the color of 10-day old guacamole, rather than the proverbial green, I don’t have any good gardening tips for ya. But I do have some great coupons that could help you out:
