Saturday Roundup-The Time Flies Edition
Amazing. March is coming to an end and I am left wondering how time has moved by so quickly. I could swear we just had Christmas!
This week was a great week for me. I have gotten a lot done on my seemingly never ending de-cluttering project. I now have 2 huge boxes of stuff to sell at a garage sale I will be having and another box for charity. I also sold some old books we no longer needed or wanted at cash4books and am waiting for my $25 check to arrive any day now.
I want to mention these great articles I read this week, each one is worth checking out, for sure:
Our Family Story @ Jogging in Circles–Even if you don’t know Kim, this heartwarming story of her meeting and marrying her husband and going from two people to a family of 4 is so sweet you’ll tear up. I did.
15 Mistakes to Avoid when Home Remodeling @ Remodeling this Life–Very good tips to know if you are planning on doing some renovations this spring/summer
De-cluttering with Children @ Being Frugal–The title says it all. Great ideas.
The Difference in Being Frugal and Being Cheap @ Frugal Dad–Comparing the differences of frugal and cheap and how the two are commonly & incorrectly linked.
And, a special Thank You to my top referrers for the month of March:
Thanks everyone!

That is so funny that you mentioned cash4books. I joined a little while ago through Frugal Dad but I have not “used” it yet. I was looking at books I wanted to take to half price books and thought “why not just sell some through Cash4books?” I am on a decluttering binge and I am trying to do just a little a day. I have my first charity box ready too,I am aiming for Monday to drop it off.

Great articles, thank you. I remember a friend’s mother emphasizing to us the difference between frugal and cheap. Timeless subject matter!
